Important News: A New Era for WPS

I am delighted to advise that I and my fellow Directors have agreed the sale of the shares in WPS to Seventeen Group with whom we have developed a close relationship and believe to be an outstanding partner who meet the criteria we have set for the business.

Succession planning and continuity of WPS are areas that have been high on our Board agenda for some time. Over the course of the last few years, we have been approached by many potential suitors but have resisted opportunities that we felt were not in the best long term interests of our clients and staff.

It has always been important to us to find a partner that was keen to invest in WPS and would be a good match in terms of attitude to business. We are fervently independent and have promoted an ethos of “treating customers fairly” at the heart of our culture.

Seventeen Group are very well respected in our sector, both locally and nationally and their leadership team have a like minded attitude to clients and staff.

Most importantly, we as Directors, our management team and all of your staff contacts will continue as before, actively involved with the servicing of your insurance arrangements.

The transition to WPS becoming part of the Seventeen Group will be seamless for you.

Seventeen Group will provide further investment to enable growth in the South West, which will in turn offer extra opportunities and benefits to you as clients and our staff. In addition, Seventeen Group have made a long term lease commitment to our presence here in the South West.

If you would like to know more about Seventeen Group we would invite you to visit their website at www.seventeengroup.co.uk.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your support and we very much look forward to continuing our close relationship with you as your brokers in the future.

If you have any questions or comments I would be delighted to hear from you.

Kind regards

Steve Rowlands

Managing Director
